       Dans ce livre, je ne voulais pas inventer un idéal féminin, une héroïne, fade et impersonnelle. J’ai donc cherché un modèle qui m’inspire, un talent, un visage qui exprime des émotions, pour lui donner vie et réalité. Les mots sont alors devenus une évidence, je pouvais enfin lui faire vivre des aventures extraordinaires, et aux lecteurs donner envie de me lire.

Ce roman se place au cœur d’une rose des vents cosmiques, entre Magie et Paranormal, entre Science-Fiction et Héroïque-Fantaisie. Le lecteur plonge dans un univers tout aussi inhumain ; qu’il est humain par ses personnages, bons ou méchants, parfois même les deux selon les circonstances. Je l’ai écrit pour un public de 7 à 77 ans, avide d’évasion et d’aventures épiques. Aventures qui sont tout aussi invraisemblables que vraisemblables dans une imagination fertile. Dommage ou tant mieux pour le lecteur, un seul roman ne contient ni assez de pages, 6 livrets sont prévus ; ni de phrases pour tout raconter, et ce résumé non plus d’ailleurs…

 AVA, le Jeu de l’Hexagŏne – Forestiá par Philippe Raspail

        L’Œil, gigantesque trou noir sphérique, épie chaque point de l’univers… Ma’AVA y est expédiée dans une navette de survie ; elle donne naissance à la jolie AVA. Dans le Jeu de l’Hexagŏne, créé par les Máges, AVA est le jouet du Máge Suprême. Sur Forestiá, pour gagner, AVA doit atteindre le portail Entr’mondes.

        « La jeune enfant ouvre les yeux, son regard inspecte ce qui l’entoure, elle est allongée dans une sorte de cabine translucide. Dans sa tête les souvenirs affluent, tout se met en place, mais elle ignore que tout ne s’est pas passé comme prévu. Son intellect est celui d’une jeune Öcelote de neuf ans, enfermé dans un corps presque adulte. Durant le voyage, un incident cosmique a déréglé la bulle temporelle, et accéléré la croissance physique de l’enfant. Programmé, l’ordinateur de bord ne lui a finalement appris que ce qu’une enfant de son âge doit savoir. A commencer par les rudiments du Gálact’, le langage universel, et l’existence de diverses espèces dans les mondes des galaxies connues. L’enfant maitrise aussi les technologies de la capsule de survie. C’est donc sans hésiter, qu’elle presse une commande située à sa droite, et ouvre le couvercle de la cabine d’hibernation.
Encore un peu engourdie, elle se redresse, puis jette un œil de droite à gauche. Une Öcelote adulte repose dans une seconde cabine, ses yeux étirés sont clos. Comme une sorte de casque sur la tête, fendu par le milieu, ses cheveux sont coupés courts, au ras du cou, et une mèche droite lui couvre le front.  Son visage endormi est ovale, lisse et tout pâle. Il est fait d’un mélange de pigmentations tirant sur un ocre jaune. Tout, en elle respire la douceur, et une jeunesse encore présente. Les sourcils, le nez, qui sont fins et droits, les lèvres d’un rouge vermillon, qui laissent transparaitre un mince sourire de satisfaction apaisée.
AVA se demande, si elle lui ressemble.

Comme elle, son corps est zébré de bandes colorées, qui se terminent en pointes sur le devant. Comme elle, elle est vêtue d’une simple jupe évasée, d’une culotte moulante dessous et d’un brassard pour couvrir sa poitrine. AVA sait, que ces tenues sont fabriquées en matière à mémoire de forme, dite élastomatique. L’ordinateur, le lui a expliqué, cette matière est comme vivante, elle s’adapte à la taille de ceux qui la porte.
– « Ma’ ! » prononce-t-elle. « Mère, tu m’entends ? » »

THE AUTHOR – PHILIPPE RASPAIL

      As a word enthusiast ; my mind is filled with countless fantastical stories that transcend reality. These are tales I do nothing but transcribe as they flow from my imagination. My favorite author is Isaac Asimov, and my dream is to follow in his footsteps.

In this novel, I didn’t want to create an idealized female character, a bland and impersonal heroine. So, I sought a model who inspires me, a talent, a face that expresses emotions, to breathe life and reality into her.      This novel is situated at the heart of a cosmic compass rose, between Magic and the Paranormal, between Science Fiction and Heroic Fantasy. The reader delves into a world that is just as inhuman as it is human through its characters, both good and bad, sometimes even both depending on the circumstances.

I wrote it for an audience aged 7 to 77, hungry for escapism and epic adventures. Adventures as improbable as they are plausible in a fertile imagination. It’s a pity or perhaps fortunate for the reader that a single novel doesn’t contain enough pages, so six booklets planned, nor enough sentences to tell everything, and this summary doesn’t either, for that matter…

      The Eye, a gigantic spherical black hole, watches over every point in the universe… Ma’AVA is dispatched there in a survival shuttle; she gives birth to the lovely AVA… In the Hexagŏne Game, created by the Máges, AVA is the plaything of the Supreme Máge… On Forestiá, to win, AVA must reach the Between’worlds Portal.

Excerpt

        « The young child opens her eyes, her gaze inspects what surrounds her, she is lying in a kind of translucent cabin. In her head the memories flood in, everything falls into place, but she does not know that everything did not go as planned. Her intellect is that of a nine-year-old Öcelote, locked in an almost adult body. During the journey, a cosmic incident disrupted the time bubble, and accelerated the child’s physical growth. Programmed, the on-board computer finally taught her only what a child her age needs to know. Starting with the rudiments of Gálact’, the universal language, and the existence of various species in the worlds of known galaxies. The child also masters the technologies of the survival capsule. It is therefore without hesitation, that she presses a control located to her right, and opens the lid of the hibernation cabin.
Still a little numb, she straightens up, then glances from right to left. An adult Öcelote lies in a second cabin, its stretched eyes are closed. Like a kind of helmet on the head, split by the middle, her hair is cut short, flush with his neck, and a straight lock covers his forehead.  His sleepy face is oval, smooth, and pale. It is made of a mixture of pigmentations pulling on an ochre yellow. Everything in her exudes sweetness, and a youth still present. The eyebrows, the nose, which are thin and straight, the lips of a vermilion red, which reveal a thin smile of soothed satisfaction.
AVA wonders if she looks like him.

Like her, her body is zebra with colored stripes, which end in spikes on the front. Like her, she is dressed in a simple flared skirt, tight panties underneath and an armband to cover her chest. AVA knows that these outfits are made of shape memory material, called elastomatic. The computer explained this to her, this material is like alive, it adapts to the size of those who wear it.
– « Ma’! » she pronounces. « Mother, you hear me? »«
